I'd met you once and I'd fallen for your potions

Do you believe that there's treasures in the ocean?
Did I say I'm just a boy?

One kiss from you and I'm drunk up on your potion
That big old smile is all you wore
"Just a Boy" by Angus & Julia Stone
More eye catching than a crystal with a gentle sound as precious as a gem, the brother and sister folk duo, Angus and Julia Stone started off with “Santa Monica Dream, ” a song off of their sophomore album Down the Way. At the El Rey Theater in Hollywood the duo had glass white lights hanging overhead, adding to the romantic ambiance of their sound. Both Angus and Julia awed the crowd with their ability to play multiple instruments. They strummed their guitars, played the banjo, blended their notes with the harmonica, caused vibrant sounds with the trumpet and sang their hearts out. The souls of the fans sunk when Julia Stone and guest star Damien Rice came out to sing a cover of “You’re the One That I Want” featured in the musical Grease. The tranquil hippie duo sang deep lyrics that brought a pleasurable nuance of energy and bittersweet harmony to the crowd, leaving them yearning for more.
